Yokohama municipal housing is provided and managed by the City of Yokohama with tax for low-income people who are in need of housing. There are eligibility requirements such as income limits and living (or working) in the city for at least 6 months. Application for municipal housing is possible twice a year, in April and October. The next call for applications is scheduled for April 2022.
