Wearing of masks

From March 13, 2023, the wearing of masks has basically become a personal decision.
However, in order to avoid spreading COVID infection to others around you, you should wear a mask in the following cases.
・When visiting a hospital
・When visiting a medical institution or elderly care facility
・When taking a crowded train or bus, such as during rush hour
To protect you from contracting COVID infection, the wearing of masks by the following people is effective in preventing infection.
・Elderly people
・People with underlying medical conditions
・People who are pregnant

If there is enough distance between people, it is not necessary to wear a mask.
In addition, pre-school children are not uniformly required to wear masks.

Do not force a person to put on or take off a mask against his/her will.
Please respect the individual’s independent judgment.
