“Heat stroke” refers to a condition where you stay in a hot and humid environment and this causes a gradual imbalance of water and salt in the body, impairing the body’s thermoregulatory system and resulting in a buildup of heat in the body.
It can occur not only outdoors, but also indoors even when you do nothing special, and can necessitate emergency medical treatment and, in some cases, cause death.
Learn about heat stroke, be aware of changes in your physical condition, and pay attention to the others around you to prevent health problems caused by heat stroke.

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare website has pamphlets explaining heat stroke prevention in 14 languages.
