“Let’s talk about ourselves and our lives in Yokohama”
Participants wanted for “Minatomirai Class” and “Online Class”
The course offers useful Japanese phrases and information for foreign residents to help them lead richer lives. It is also important for participants to get to know each other!
There are two types of classes: the Minatomirai Class (where you will actually be in the classroom to study), and the Online Class. Please apply for the one you prefer.
＜Minatomirai Class＞
Period: January 17 (Mon)- March 30 (Wed), Total of 20 lessons
Day and Time: Every Monday and Wednesday (twice a week); 10:30-11:30（60 min）
Eligibility:
・Those who need to use Japanese in their everyday lives
・Those who plan to stay in Japan for more than 3 years
・Those with a beginner’s level
・Those who are over 16 years of age
・Those who would like to study conversational Japanese
・Those who have lived a long time in Japan but have never studied Japanese before.
Limit: About 10 people
Location: Conference room, Yokohama Association for International Communications and
Exchanges (Minatomirai)
Fee: 10,000 yen/course (20 lessons)
Learning style: Group lessons of about 5 students
＜Online Class＞
Period: February 7 (Mon)- March 23 (Wed), Total of 12 lessons
Day and Time: Every Monday and Wednesday (twice a week); 10:00-11:15（75 min）
Eligibility:
・Those who need to use Japanese in their everyday lives
・Those who live, work, or go to school in Yokohama
・Those with a beginner’s level (those who can read “Hiragana” and can speak a little Japanese)
・Those who are over 16 years of age
・Those who have or can prepare a suitable environment for online study.
Limit: About 10 people
Location: ZOOM
Fee: 6,000 yen/course (12 lessons)
Learning style: Group lessons of about 3 students
