When you move, you need to go to your local ward office for procedures.
The procedures will vary depending on where you are moving from and where you are moving to.
1. If you are moving outside of Yokohama City:
When you are moving from Yokohama City to another municipality (including a foreign country), you need to go to the local ward office of the ward you live now and complete the “Tenshutsu Todoke“ (Notification of moving out) *1 procedure.

2. If you moved to a different ward within Yokohama City:
Please perform the “Tennyu Todoke“ (Notification of moving in) *2 procedure. There is no need for the “Tenshutsu Todoke“ (Notification of moving out) procedure.
3. If you moved within same ward of Yokohama City:
Please perform the “Tenkyo Todoke“ (Notification of relocation) *3 procedure.
